Infinix unveiled the Infinix Hot 50 (5G) and Hot 40 (4G) in various markets in September. The brand is also reportedly developing the Infinix Hot 50 Pro+ (4G), which will feature a slim 6.8mm body and the MediaTek Helio G100 chip. In a new development, Infinix has quietly announced the Infinix Hot 50i, a 4G smartphone that adopts the same design language as the other Hot 50 models. The Infinix Hot 50i features a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The dimensions of the device are 165.7 x 77.1 x 8.1mm, and it weighs 184g.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Hot 50i features an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a selfie flash. On the rear, the device sports a dual-camera setup with a 48-megapixel main camera and an f/1.79 aperture, enabling users to capture clear and vibrant images. The device runs on Android 14 Go edition, enhanced with Infinix’s XOS 14.0 for a smooth user interface experience.

Powering the Infinix Hot 50i is the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset. Users can choose between 4 GB and 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, along with storage options of 128 GB or 256 GB, expandable via microSD up to 2TB. The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

The Hot 50i is equipped with other features dual SIM support, VoLTE, a USB Type-C connection terminal, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The Hot 50i also comes with an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance and includes side-mounted fingerprint authentication for added security.

The Infinix Hot 50i is expected to have a wider release later this month. The price for the device starts at approximately $110. Users can choose from four vibrant colors: Sleek Black, Sage Green, Titanium Grey, and Dreamy Purple.
