Huawei is set to launch its highly anticipated Watch D2 smartwatch in the Philippines on October 14, 2024. The company has already started accepting pre-orders for the device, allowing consumers to secure their units ahead of the official release.
The Watch D2, which was initially launched in Europe, offers advanced health monitoring features that set it apart from other smartwatches on the market. One of its standout features is Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM), which enables continuous blood pressure tracking throughout the day and night. This provides users with valuable insights into their cardiovascular health and helps identify potential issues early on.
The Watch D2 features a built-in micropump and inflatable wrist strap, ensuring accurate blood pressure measurements. Unlike other smartwatches that rely on optical sensors, the Watch D2’s innovative design provides more reliable readings.
In addition to blood pressure monitoring, the Watch D2 also offers a comprehensive suite of health-tracking features. These include Beat-by-Beat ECG Analysis, SpO2 monitoring, Heart Rate monitoring, Stress Level monitoring, and Skin Temperature monitoring. The Watch D2’s TruSense system allows users to measure nine body indicators with just a single tap, providing a comprehensive overview of their overall health.
The Watch D2 boasts a stunning 1.82-inch AMOLED display with a 2.5D floating design, ensuring vibrant and clear visuals. It also supports GPS, allowing users to view routes directly on the screen. The smartwatch is available in Black and Gold color options and comes with a choice of fluoroelastomer or cream leather straps to suit individual preferences.
To encourage pre-orders, Huawei is offering a ₱1000 ($18) deposit and a ₱2000 ($35) discount to customers who reserve the Watch D2 in advance. Additionally, buyers will receive freebies worth ₱2198 ($39), including a third-gen Huawei Scale Bluetooth Edition. The company is also providing a 1-year warranty and a 1-year extended warranty service for the Watch D2.
