Xiaomi‘s Redmi Watch 5 Active has made its debut in several European countries. The Redmi Watch 5 Active, Initially launched on August 27 in India is a budget-friendly smartwatch that offers many attractive features at an attractive price point.

The Watch 5 Active has a square dial with curved edges and a physical button on the right side. It sports a large 2-inch display with 500 nits peak brightness for enhanced visibility and a smooth user experience. The smartwatch is water-resistant up to 5ATM and has an IPX8 rating.

Equipped with a 24/7 heart-rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, stress, and sleep trackers, the Watch 5 Active also includes a menstrual cycle tracker for women and a breathing reminder. It supports over 140 sports modes and can automatically detect certain activities.
The smartwatch features a built-in speaker and microphone for Bluetooth voice calls and operates on Xiaomi’s HyperOS, making it the first Redmi wearable to do so. Other features include SOS, privacy lock, theatre mode, torch, find your phone, and built-in Alexa for voice commands. Powered by a 470mAh battery, it offers up to 18 days of battery life on a single charge.

The Watch 5 Active is currently available in the Netherlands and Germany for a discounted price of €32.99. In the UK, it can be purchased for £29.99. Other European countries like France and Spain offer the smartwatch at €39.99.
In other news, Huawei will launch its Watch D2 smartwatch in the Philippines on October 14, 2024, with pre-orders already open.
