Following Qualcomm’s announcement of the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, many brands teased their upcoming premium phones with this new chipset. Realme was one such brand, claiming that the Realme GT 7 Pro would be the first Snapdragon 8 Elite powered smartphone to launch in India.
Realme GT 7 Pro India Launch
The Chinese brand has just shared a teaser of the GT 7 Pro on its official X account (formerly Twitter). To recall, the Realme GT 7 Pro was recently confirmed to launch in November 2024 across the globe, and this teaser confirms the same launch timeline in the Indian market as well. This teaser also revealed the availability of the device as well. Realme’s latest flagship phone will go on sale via its official Realme India online website, Amazon India, and offline stores.

But offering a quick breakdown, the Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to launch with a custom made Samsung AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution, peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, which brings 45 percent faster CPU performance than its predecessor. A massive 6,500mAh silicon carbon battery may power this phone, which supports 100W fast charging.
For optics, the Realme GT 7 Pro will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 primary camera at the back along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. It might come with a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls on the front. Other notable features may include an IP68/69 rating for water and dust resistance, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), and Android 15 OS based Realme UI 6 custom skin out of the box.
