Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo aims to maintain its place in the lower segment market. That’s why the brand is preparing to come up with the new model Vivo Y04. Vivo’s budget-friendly product was spotted in our IMEI database.
Vivo Y04 coming
The budget-friendly Vivo Y04 has been spotted in our IMEI database and the model number appears to be V2430. We don’t know the technical specifications of the device yet. However, it will be equipped with more advanced features than its successor Vivo Y03. To remind you, Vivo Y03 comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ resolution display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. In addition, this device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and offers 4GB RAM / up to 128GB internal storage. It is possible to expand the smartphone’s storage with up to 1TB memory card support.
Vivo Y03 comes with a 5000mAh battery and 15W fast charging. On the camera side, the dual rear camera setup consisting of a 5MP front camera and a 13MP main camera draws attention. IPX4 waterproofing and IPX6 dustproofing take a step forward in terms of durability. In this way, the device promises safe use even in harsh conditions. The smartphone also offers a fingerprint reader integrated into the power key. It comes out of the box with Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14 interface.
The Vivo Y04 will become a solid option, especially for users looking for a budget-friendly phone. Aiming to increase competition in the smartphone market, Vivo is expected to launch this device in late 2024. Of course, there is no clear information about the official launch date. Vivo Y04 is expected to attract the attention of those who already want a budget-friendly smartphone.
