Insta360 has unveiled a new limited edition version of its 360-degree action camera, the Insta360 X4, in collaboration with BMW Motorrad. This limited-edition device offers a range of impressive features and capabilities for capturing immersive content, along with a BMW Motorrad branding on the back.

The Insta360 X4 Motorrad edition is similar to the regular model in terms of specifications. It boasts a 2.5-inch touchscreen and supports both gesture and voice control, allowing for hands-free operation. Its 72MP 360-degree lens system enables the capture of stunning 8K 30fps videos and 5.7K 60fps videos. For slow-motion enthusiasts, the camera supports 4K 100fps, 5.7K 120fps, and 3K 240fps recording. Additionally, it can capture 4K 30fps ultra-wide-angle videos with a 170-degree field of view and 11K time-lapse videos.
The Insta360 X4 is equipped with a variety of advanced features, including an invisible selfie stick, 360-degree active HDR, Me Mode, Flow State stabilization, wind noise reduction, and 360-degree horizon lock. AI-powered editing tools further enhance the post-production process.
The device is also designed for durability, with a waterproof rating of up to 10 meters and an optional dive case for underwater adventures up to 50 meters. The 2,290mAh battery provides extended recording time compared to its predecessor.
Pricing & availability
The Insta360 X4 BMW Motorrad limited edition is priced at 3,649 yuan (~$513). It is currently unknown if the brand has any plans to release this collaborative version in markets outside of China. The regular Insta360 X4 model is available in the global market priced at around $500 on Amazon.
In other news, Xiaomi has introduced the Stand-Style Selfie Stick Mini Version, designed for selfie enthusiasts and content creators. Priced at 79 yuan ($11), it features a Bluetooth remote and a hidden tripod. Available in Deep Space Black and Milk Tea White, it weighs just 155 grams and extends up to 520mm for versatile shooting.
