Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Portable Instant Hot Water Dispenser in the Chinese market, a thermos-sized, on-the-go hot water solution. It is priced at 249 Yuan ($35) and is now up for pre-order on JD.com with official sales starting on November 8. Let’s check out its key specs.
Mijia Portable Hot Water Dispenser Specifications
The Mijia Portable Instant Hot Water Dispenser is designed for portability, measuring 80mm x 80mm x 214mm and similar in size to a thermos. It weighs 880 grams, making it easy to carry in a backpack side pocket or for travel on planes, high-speed trains, and more.
This device features a side pull-out water inlet that improves weight balance, preventing tipping when a bottle is attached. It supports a variety of bottled water sizes and comes with a bottle adapter and a 0.5-meter water tube, compatible with most bottles between 330ml and 596ml.
For added convenience, it includes a built-in 350ml stainless steel cup that can serve as both a drinking container and a dust cover when not in use. This cup has double-layer insulation, keeping water warm and safe to handle.
It uses advanced ceramic heating technology, heating water in just three seconds. It offers five preset temperature options – room temperature, 45°C, 60°C, 75°C, and 95°C, suitable for various needs like brewing tea, making coffee, or preparing baby formula.
For precise control, the device also allows for 5°C adjustments between 45°C and 95°C. Additionally, it provides three volume settings – 250ml, 350ml, and 500ml, making it adaptable for different beverages.
The Mijia Dispenser features a high-altitude mode to adjust the boiling point based on location, an 80°C self-cleaning mode for hygiene, and a child-lock for added safety. The self-cleaning progress is displayed in real-time on its LED screen, which also shows the current water temperature and volume settings.
The product is available in Moonlight White and Bamboo Green colors.
Earlier today, Xiaomi also introduced its new Magnetic Cooling Clip for gamers, featuring RGB lighting and Mi Home app support.
