Xiaomi has launched the Magnetic Cooling Clip, a high-performance smartphone accessory aimed at managing heat during intensive activities like gaming and streaming. Priced at 199 Yuan ($28), it’s now available on JD.com. Let’s check out its key specs.

Xiaomi Magnetic Cooling Clip Specifications
The Xiaomi Magnetic Cooling Clip features a 30W semiconductor cooler equipped with aluminum alloy fins arranged in a directed airflow design to optimize cooling efficiency.
It includes a high-speed, seven-blade fan that spins at 6,300 RPM, employing a turbine-style airflow to enhance air movement across the heat-dissipation fins. The cooling clip can lower device temperatures to 0°C in just 25 seconds and can reach a freezing point of -10°C under ideal conditions. However, actual cooling results may vary depending on ambient conditions.

The clip uses a cold-side PID and hot-side tracking algorithm with an Auto mode for automatic temperature adjustments, optimizing cooling. It also comes with an Extreme Cold mode that boosts power for lower temperatures, while NTC over-temperature protection ensures real-time monitoring, enhancing device lifespan.
In addition, the clip integrates four RGB lighting modes – Rainbow, Breathing, Flowing, and Bright, allowing users to customize the visual appeal according to their preferences. For added convenience, users can access these settings, as well as temperature monitoring, through the Mi Home app, making it easy to fine-tune the device remotely.
Aligned with Xiaomi’s “Alive” design, the clip features a sleek Silver and Black look. It magnetically attaches to MagSafe-compatible phones and includes clamp arms for non-magnetic devices, supporting both smartphones and tablets without obstructing buttons or ports. For larger devices, its detachable structure allows flexible positioning.
The clip also includes multiple safety features, including over-voltage, under-voltage, and over-temperature protection, as well as fan stall protection. It operates within a temperature range of 5°C to 35°C and supports QC3.0 and Xiaomi PD 20W charging for reliable performance.
Xiaomi also recently launched the Xiaomi 15 series, featuring the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite, along with the new Pad 7 series.
