Huawei is set to unveil a new lineup of flagship smartphones in mid-November 2024. The series is expected to include the Mate 70, Mate 70 Pro, and Mate 70 Pro+. After a recent report claiming the launch date to be November 19, more interesting details about the flagship model of the Mate 70 lineup have appeared.

Tipster Digital Chat Station has claimed that the Mate 70 lineup will be replacing the Mate 60 RS with the Mate 70 “UD” or Mate 70 Ultimate Design. While specifics remain unclear, it’s speculated that this model will adopt a similar back design to the Mate XT.
Recent leaks suggest that the upcoming Huawei Mate 70 series will feature ultrasonic fingerprint scanners and a redesigned camera layout. Rumors also indicate that the Mate 70 could launch with dual OS options: Huawei’s new HarmonyOS Next as the primary OS, with secondary support for Android.
Under the hood, the Mate 70 series is likely to be powered by next-generation Kirin 9000-series chipsets, albeit with potential performance limitations. More details about the Mate 70 series devices are expected to emerge in the coming days so stay tuned.
In other news, Nubia’s Red Magic 10 Pro series is launching on November 13th. It will feature a full-screen display with an under-display camera, promising a truly immersive viewing experience. The Pro+ model is expected to offer a 7-inch+ OLED panel with a 2688 x 1216 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, alongside a dedicated gaming chip and a powerful cooling system.
