Casio has added the limited-edition MTG-B2000YST-1AER to its G-SHOCK lineup, expanding the MT-G series with a watch that balances durability and style. Built with carbon and metal, this model is designed to withstand shocks, centrifugal forces, and vibrations.

The G-Shock MTG-B2000 Special Storm Chaser case is inspired by the work of storm chasers who face extreme weather to gather important data. Built for durability and style, this watch includes a rainbow IP bezel, a multi-layered carbon frame, and a mixed-color resin band that echoes the colors of a stormy sky.

The bezel’s color scheme, with a blend of blue IP and silver IP, reflects a storm’s changing skies. Made from layered carbon and glass fiber, the bezel has a design resembling lightning streaks, and a phosphorescent layer that glows in the dark to suggest flashes of lightning. The soft urethane band, with dark resin shades, is reminiscent of supercell clouds and intense weather patterns.

The MTG-B2000YST-1AER includes scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with an anti-reflective coating for clear visibility. Its 200-meter water resistance makes it suitable for various water-based activities. The watch also offers practical features like a battery level indicator, a countdown timer, and a 24-hour stopwatch. The watch is quite lightweight, weighing just 104 grams.
The MTG-B2000YST-1AER harnesses solar energy to reduce the need for battery replacements. It also has Bluetooth connectivity that allows users to link the watch to the CASIO WATCHES app, providing automatic time updates, world time display, and other additional features.
