Tipster Digital Chat Station has shared a render of the OnePlus Ace 5, revealing its design aesthetics. The device will feature a punch-hole display for the selfie camera, a traditional alert slider on the left side, and a circular rear camera module housing three sensors and an LED flash.

The tipster also mentioned that the device will sport a pure straight screen, protected by Crystal Shield glass, and will be encased in a metal middle frame and a ceramic body. The smartphone is expected to come in a Sky Blue color variant with a unique painted pottery finish, utilizing advanced craftsmanship.

As for the specifications, the Ace 5 is set to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the higher-end Ace 5 Pro could include the more advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.

Reports indicate that the Ace 5 will sport a 1.5K resolution OLED flat display from BOE, moving away from the curved screen design of the Ace 3. It will support 100W wired fast charging but will not offer wireless charging. The Ace 5 Pro is expected to use BOE’s X2 flat screen, also with a 1.5K resolution.

The Ace 5 Pro’s camera system is anticipated to see significant improvements, incorporating a Sony IMX906 main sensor and an ISOCELL JN1 telephoto sensor, both offering 50-megapixel resolution. It may also utilize advanced image processing technology akin to that in the Find X8 series.

While the Ace 3 Pro launched at CNY 3,199, the Ace 5 Pro’s starting price might increase due to its earlier release and the higher cost of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
