A new limited-edition G-Shock watch has been unveiled, this time in collaboration with the Japanese clothing brand buddix. The buddix x Casio G-Shock DW-5600 is a stylish take on the classic DW-5600 model, featuring a white base with green and red buddix logos across the band and engraved on the back.
While specific details about the watch’s features haven’t been officially confirmed, it’s likely to share the core functionalities of other DW-5600 models, including a 1/100th second stopwatch, countdown timer, multiple alarms, hourly time signal, fully automatic calendar, Super Illuminator LED backlight, and a long battery life of up to five years.

The buddix x Casio G-Shock DW-5600 is currently available for purchase in Japan, both online and at the Vertical Garage store in Nakameguro, Tokyo. Priced at ¥17,600 (approximately $114). Unfortunately, there’s no word on an international release for this collaboration watch, and chances are high that it will stay exclusive to Japan only.
That said, due to their popularity, Casio brought over its Shiba Inu-Inspired G-Shock Watches to the global market, so there is still hope for the buddix collab to show up overseas. Another attractive watch based on the G-Shock DW5600 is the latest collaboration of Casio with the renowned streetwear brand Bait, resulting in an all-white, 80s-era Apple-inspired design dubbed “Innovation.” This limited-edition watch is available for around $150 at Bait’s online and physical stores in the US.
