Xiaomi’s latest tablet series, the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro is set to make its global debut. Recent certifications in various regions, including the SDPPI and BIS certifications, have hinted at an imminent international launch. These tablets have also cleared UAE’s TDRA certification.


The Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro tablets appeared on the TDRA database with numbers 2410CRP4CG and 24091RPADG, respectively. It is worth pointing out that these are the Wi-Fi-only models. These tablets are expected to debut alongside the Xiaomi 15 series smartphones in the global market, one of which was recently certified by Thai regulators.

Both tablets are expected to retain the impressive specifications of their Chinese counterparts. The Pad 7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, a mid-range chipset that delivers solid performance for everyday tasks and light gaming. Meanwhile, the Pad 7 Pro will be equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Both tablets will feature a large 11.2-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a high resolution of 3200 x 2136 pixels. The displays will support a variable refresh rate of up to 144Hz, ensuring smooth scrolling and animations. Additionally, the displays will be certified for low blue light emissions, reducing eye strain during extended usage.
In terms of optics, the Pad 7 Pro will sport a 50MP main camera with a large 1/2.76-inch sensor and an f/1.8 aperture. This camera will be capable of capturing detailed images and 4K videos. The Pad 7, on the other hand, will feature a 13MP main camera with a 1/3.06-inch sensor and an f/2.2 aperture.
For video calls and selfies, both tablets will feature high-resolution front-facing cameras. The Pad 7 Pro will have a 32MP sensor, while the Pad 7 will have an 8MP sensor.
The tablets will be powered by large batteries and will support fast charging. Additionally, they will offer advanced connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Both tablets will run on Xiaomi’s latest custom Android skin, likely based on Android 14.
