Casio has unveiled its latest addition to the iconic G-Shock G-Steel lineup, the GST-B400CX-1AJR, a timepiece designed to celebrate the Year of the Snake. This limited-edition watch combines traditional Chinese symbolism with modern smartwatch functionality, making it a unique offering for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

The GST-B400CX-1AJR pays homage to the Year of the Snake with a distinct diamond-patterned design on the watch face, band, and buttons, reminiscent of snake skin. The packaging further reinforces this theme with an “eternal snake” motif, symbolizing longevity and good fortune.

In other news, Casio has also launched its limited-edition G-Shock MTG-B2000YST1 in the US for $1,450. Part of the MT-G series, it features a Storm Chaser design with a rainbow ion-plated bezel, lightning-like patterns, and a glowing phosphorescent layer. Built with a carbon-metal frame, sapphire crystal, and 200-meter water resistance, it is durable yet lightweight at 104g.
