Huawei has unveiled festive editions of its Watch GT 5 and Watch GT 5 Pro smartwatches in Europe. These limited-edition models come in festive red and green colors with multiple strap options to cater to various tastes.
The 41mm Watch GT 5 is available in red and offers three strap combinations: red and blue fluoroelastomer, red fluoroelastomer with white leather, and red fluoroelastomer with a gold Milanese strap. The 46mm Watch GT 5 comes in green with two strap options: green and black fluoroelastomer, and green fluoroelastomer with brown leather. The premium Watch GT 5 Pro is also available in green with green and black fluoroelastomer straps.
Apart from the physical changes, these watches will have a special Christmas watch face, “Xmas Starlit Holiday,” While the design has been updated for the festive season, the core features of the original models remain unchanged. Both watches offer AMOLED displays, comprehensive health tracking, workout monitoring, Bluetooth calling, and other smart features. Additionally, a special Christmas watch face, “Xmas Starlit Holiday,” will be available for all models starting December 21 through the Huawei Health app.
While the design has been updated for the festive season, the core features of the original models remain unchanged.
Huawei Watch GT 5 and GT 5 Pro features
The Huawei Watch GT 5 and GT 5 Pro offer advanced features across multiple sizes, with the GT 5 available in 41mm (1.32-inch AMOLED) and 46mm (1.43-inch AMOLED) models. Built with 316L stainless steel, they support heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep tracking, women’s health tracking, and GPS with improved accuracy. The GT 5 provides up to 14 days of battery life (46mm) and supports wireless charging.
The GT 5 Pro enhances durability with titanium, sapphire glass, and ceramics (42mm). It adds features like an ECG sensor, topographic maps, offline navigation, advanced running metrics, and over 100 workout modes, including a golf mode with 3D course maps. Water-resistant up to 40 meters, it offers the same battery life as the GT 5 and is IP69K-rated for harsh conditions.
Pricing & availability
The Huawei Watch GT 5 Festive Editions are now available in several European countries, including the UK, Spain, and the Netherlands. Prices start at £239.99 (€259.99) for the 41mm model and go up to £339.99 (€389.99) for the Watch GT 5 Pro.
