In October, Honor unveiled the Honor Magic 7 and Magic 7 Pro smartphones in China. At the event, the brand confirmed that the Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design would be announced by the end of this year. Today, Honor officially announced that the Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design and its imaging technology will be unveiled at an event on Dec. 23 in China.

The Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design maintains the high-performance and luxurious aesthetics of its predecessors, featuring a metallic finish and the signature hexagonal and matrix arrangement design. Available in Provence Purple and Onyx Grey, these colors have been meticulously crafted by masters at the Stuttgart Porsche Design studio. Honor’s event on Dec. 23 promises to be a significant milestone in mobile photography innovation.
Pre-orders for the Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design began earlier this month, requiring a deposit of 100 yuan, with the pre-order window open until the end of December. Speculations are rife that the specifications of the Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design will be identical to the Magic 7 Pro. However, it will sport a premium design as shown in the image above.
The Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design is expected to come with key specs, such as a 6.8-inch OLED panel that offers a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and a 50-megapixel (main) + 50-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 200-megapixel (periscope telephoto) triple camera setup. The device may ship in two configurations: 24GB+512GB and 24GB+1TB.
Honor is likely to introduce other new products at the Dec. 23 event, possibly in the smart wearables or smart home categories. This follows a successful launch event on Dec. 16, where the company unveiled the Honor GT and Honor Pad V9. The Honor GT, featuring a 6.7-inch 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform, has already impressed with its advanced gaming optimizations and 100W fast charging capability.
