Xiaomi’s flagship 15 Ultra is getting closer to its global debut, with recent developments confirming its arrival in India. The device, listed under model number “25010PN30I,” received BIS certification on December 20, 2024 (spotted by Thetechoutlook). While the certification does not explicitly mention the name, earlier IMEI listings have linked this model to the Indian variant of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

The global version will carry a similar model number ending in ‘G,’ while the Chinese variant concludes with ‘C.’ As with the Xiaomi 14 Series, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is likely to launch alongside the Xiaomi 15 in India and global markets, mirroring its Chinese release pattern. The Pro variant is expected to remain exclusive to China.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra has yet to launch in China, with recent rumors suggesting a February 2025 release, delaying earlier expectations of a January debut. Indian and global launches will likely follow in March or April 2025.

Specifications
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0. The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a micro-curved design for enhanced aesthetics.

The rear camera setup is a standout feature, with a quad-lens configuration comprising 50MP + 50MP + 50MP + 200MP sensors. Battery performance is robust, with a 6000mAh capacity supporting 90W wired and 80W wireless charging. The device will also include an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for secure authentication.

In other news, Xiaomi is also expected to launch the CIVI 5 Pro soon in China. Reports suggest the device will feature a Snapdragon 8s Elite SoC, a 5,000mAh battery, a premium glass-metal design, and a circular camera module with a portrait telephoto lens. The front may house dual cameras, similar to the Civi 4 Pro.
