Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus will be hosting a domestic launch event on December 26 for the OnePlus Ace 5 series smartphones. The lineup will feature two models, the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro, with the brand already revealing several details about their specifications and features. In the latest teasers, the brand has confirmed the performance numbers of the Pro model, alongside its main camera sensor, battery capacity, and fast charging details.

As per a post shared by OnePlus on Weibo, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro has crossed the 3.2 million mark on the AnTuTu benchmark. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which is capable of exceeding the 3 million mark under optimal conditions.

The device is equipped with a 6100mAh battery, which, according to the brand, can provide up to 7 hours of gaming at 120FPS. Additionally, downtime is minimal, as the battery supports 100W fast charging, allowing it to fully recharge in just 35 minutes.
Moving to optics, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro will pack a 50 MP Sony IMX906 primary camera, which has previously been used in devices like the Realme GT7 Pro and the Nubia Z70 Ultra. It will use Oppo’s latest flagship imaging algorithm as well as the “shadowless capture” tech used in OnePlus flagships to snap crisp and clear pictures. The brand has also provided some image samples which we have included below.

Some previously confirmed details include an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, a “Dual Ice Core VC” cooling system, and a groundbreaking e-sports Wi-Fi G1 chip. Following previous trends, it is more than likely that this device will be exclusive to the Chinese market. However, the vanilla OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to be rebranded as the OnePlus 13R and sold in the global market.
