OnePlus recently introduced the Ace 5 series in China, which includes a standard and a Pro model. The standard Ace 5 is expected to launch globally as the OnePlus 13R, but there is a difference in battery capacity between the models.

The Ace 5 in China features a 6,400mAh battery, the largest ever in a OnePlus device. This is a significant increase from the previous generation’s 5,500mAh capacity and is notable given the phone’s slim 8mm design. OnePlus states that this battery can support up to 23 hours of video playback with some charge remaining.

The OnePlus 13R on the other hand has been confirmed to have a 6,000mAh battery, the same capacity as the upcoming OnePlus 13 flagship. Since the OnePlus 13R shares a teaser webpage with the flagship OnePlus 13, some speculate that the listed 6,000mAh capacity could be a mistake. However, long-standing rumors have suggested that the OnePlus 13R will feature a 6,000mAh battery, making it likely that this specification will hold true upon its global launch.

Recent reports state that the OnePlus 13R could launch in a single 12GB + 256GB variant in India with two color options: Nebula Noir and Astrail Trail. The brand has also started taking early-bird reservations of the device for $50, offering a $50 discount on the device in addition to other gifts worth $229.
Other than the 13R, there is also news on the OnePlus 13, which is said to be priced between ₹67,000 and ₹70,000, a slight increase over the ₹64,999 starting price of the OnePlus 12 at launch.
