Popular smartphone benchmarking platform AnTuTu has just revealed a list of the top 10 best-performing smartphones for December 2024. For those unaware, the platform tests various aspects of the device, including CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, and user experience. The app runs a series of tests that stress the device’s hardware and software and then assigns a score based on the results. The scores below are an average of multiple benchmark runs.

The Red Magic 10 Pro+ flagship gaming smartphone, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset has taken the top spot in performance rankings, overtaking the ROG Phone 9 Pro, which is notably absent from this month’s list.
Last month, the ROG Phone 9 Pro achieved a score of 2,932,124, slightly surpassing the Red Magic 10 Pro+’s leading score of 2,924,229 this month. Meanwhile, the newly launched OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, positioned as the brand’s performance-focused flagship, secured second place with a score of 2,918,301, narrowly missing the top spot.
The Satellite Communication Edition of both the Oppo Find X8 Pro and the Vivo X200 Pro have claimed the third and fourth spots on the list, both powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 processors. The number 6 entry, the iQOO Neo 10 Pro is quite interesting as it is the most affordable smartphone on this list, while still managing to score 2,832,907 points on average, making it a great choice for budget-conscious buyers looking for the most bang for their buck. It has a starting price of 3199 yuan (~$437) in China, and overseas customers can import the device to their doorstep for just $549.
