Lenovo has announced two new Android tablets for 2025: the Yoga Tab Plus and the Idea Tab Pro, both featuring 12.7-inch displays with a 2944 x 1840 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The Yoga Tab Plus is a high-end device aimed at power users, while the Idea Tab Pro offers a more affordable option with balanced features.
Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus: Premium Features
Priced at $700, the Yoga Tab Plus is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Its 12.7-inch display includes anti-reflective technology, 3K resolution, and a brightness of up to 900 nits, making it suitable for various lighting conditions.
The tablet introduces AI capabilities through its Snapdragon processor, delivering up to 20 TOPS of AI performance. Key features include the Lenovo AI Note writing assistant and AI Transcript for multilingual voice-to-text conversion.
Other highlights include a dual-camera setup (13MP front and rear), six Harman Kardon speakers for high-quality audio, and Wi-Fi 7 support. The tablet runs Android 15 and is backed by a 10,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Weighing 1.41 lbs (0.64 kg) and measuring 6.69mm thick, it is portable and well-suited for demanding tasks.
Lenovo Idea Tab Pro: Affordable and Functional
Starting at $350, the Idea Tab Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor, up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It has the same 12.7-inch, 3K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate but offers a lower brightness of 400 nits.
The tablet features an 8MP front camera, a 13MP rear camera, and four JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos. It supports Wi-Fi 6E, runs Android 14, and includes a 10,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Optional accessories like a pen and keyboard add versatility.
Availability and Design
The Yoga Tab Plus is available in Tidal Teal and Seashell and launches this month. The Idea Tab Pro, available in Luna Grey and Seafoam Green, will be released in April 2025.
