Huawei introduced the Huawei Band 8 in India in July 2024, offering a sleek and feature-packed wearable. Following its success, the brand has launched the Huawei Band 9, catering to fitness enthusiasts and smart accessory users alike. With pre-orders now live and pricing officially revealed, here’s a detailed look at its specifications, features, and price.
Huawei Band 9 specifications and features
The Huawei Band 9 features a 1.47-inch HD 2.5D AMOLED touch display, delivering a resolution of 194×368 pixels, a 282ppi pixel density, and Always-on Mode support. The fitness tracker is equipped with a 9-axis IMU sensor, including an accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer, alongside an optical heart rate sensor and an ambient light sensor.
For health monitoring, Band 9 offers Huawei TruSeen 5.5 for heart rate tracking, HUAWEI TruSleep 4.0 for advanced sleep tracking, and HUAWEI TruRelax for stress management. Women can also benefit from menstrual cycle tracking. It supports 100 workout modes, with automatic detection for four common exercises. It supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, making it compatible with Android 8.0 and above, as well as iOS 13.0 and higher.
The device is 5ATM water-resistant, making it safe for swimming and underwater activities up to 50 meters. Additional smart features include music control, remote camera functionality, quick message replies, and incoming call alerts. Despite its slim build (43.45 × 24.86 × 8.99 mm) and lightweight design at just 14g, the Band 9 offers up to 14 days of battery life with fast charging, reaching full capacity in just 45 minutes.
Huawei Band 9 price in India, availability
While the Huawei Band 9 is officially priced at Rs 5,999 in India, it is available at a discounted price of Rs 3,999 during the pre-order period, which runs until 17th January. It is currently available on Flipkart in Black, Pink, White, and Yellow shades. After the pre-order period, the Band 9 will also be available on Amazon.
