Motorola is readying the launch of the Moto G Stylus 5G (2025). Certifications from multiple regulatory bodies have recently been spotted, including one from the FCC in the United States. The certificatons hints at an imminent release.

In certification platforms like FCC, IMEI, and UL Solutions, the Moto G Stylus 5G (2025) has surfaced. The listings have revealed some key details about the phone. The phone has surfaced with multiple model numbers – XT2517-1, XT2517-2, XT2517-3, and XT2517V. It indicates that Motorola is going to release different editions of this device in different markets.
The FCC certification reveals support for GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G NR bands, which will ensure broad compatibility with global networks. The device will also support Wi-Fi 6E, which will provide faster and more reliable wireless connectivity.
What to expect from the Moto G Stylus (2025)?
Physically, the Moto G Stylus (2025) is listed with dimensions of 146.2 mm x 71.8 mm x 7.5 mm, making it slimmer than the Moto G Stylus (2024), which measures at 8.3 mm. The battery is rated with a rated capacity of 4,850 mAh and a typical capacity of 5,000 mAh, the same as last year.
Accessories that are listed in the certifications include USB cables from Luxshare and Saibao, and finally, a stylus bearing the Techson brand, which all supports the fact that this might indeed be the Moto G Stylus 5G (2025).

Details of the chipset, memory, and camera are unknown. To recall, the Moto G Stylus 5G (2024) was built with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset (4nm), dual rear cameras (50 MP wide-angle and 13 MP ultra-wide), a 32 MP front camera, and a 6.7-inch P-OLED display with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. It launched back in May 2024 with a $399.99 in the US, and is now available on Amazon for only $250.
Aside from the stylus, the design of the device is also worth admiration, at least considering the price range. After looking at the budget-friendly Moto G05, we can only expect the Moto G Stylus (2025) to become even prettier than its predecessor.
