Huawei recently unveiled the Huawei Band 9 in India, which is now available for pre-orders. Alongside, the brand has also announced the launch of its new affordable earbuds, the Huawei FreeBuds SE 2. To recall, the FreeBuds SE 2 was announced globally back in August 2023 and now it has been made available in India. Here’s a closer look at the key features and pricing of the device.

The Huawei FreeBuds SE 2 offer a semi-in-ear design, weighing just 3.8 grams per earbud and 33 grams for the charging case. The company has used insights from over 300,000 ear canal samples, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit based on ergonomic simulations. With Bluetooth 5.3, these earbuds provide low-latency connectivity, reducing power consumption and offering a smooth, stable connection.
These earbuds are equipped with a powerful battery that lasts up to 9 hours on a single charge, and with the charging case, the total battery life extends to around 40 hours. Even if you’re in a rush, a 10-minute charge provides 3 hours of playback. For ease of use, the earbuds support intuitive touch controls, allowing you to play or pause music, answer calls, or skip tracks with simple gestures.
The FreeBuds SE 2 have passed 26 rigorous reliability tests, ensuring a consistent and high-quality audio experience. Additionally, they feature IP54 dust and splash resistance, making them suitable for various environments.
Huawei FreeBuds SE 2 price in India and availability
The Huawei FreeBuds SE 2 is priced at Rs 2,999 and will be available on Amazon and Flipkart in blue and white colour options. The Huawei Band 9, which is also part of the brand’s recent launch, is available for pre-order until Jan. 16, priced at Rs 3,999, and comes in Black, Pink, White, Blue, and Yellow shades.
