Infinix unveiled the Smart 9 HD, an entry-level 4G phone, in Africa in December 2024. The brand is now reportedly gearing up to launch it in India later this month. Ahead of the expected launch, 91mobiles has teamed up with tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore to share a leaked photo of the Smart 9 HD.

The live shot shared by the tipster showcases the Smart 9 HD in Coral Gold and Mint Green editions. The device is also expected to arrive in Neo Titanium and Metallic Black shades. The device is said to be equipped with a multi-layer glass back and a color-matched frame. It is speculated to arrive as the most durable phone in its price segment.
The specifications of the Infinix Smart 9 HD are no secret as it was officially unveiled in Africa with a pricing of around $90. While there is no information about its price for the Indian market, it is expected to debut on Jan. 28.

The Infinix Smart 9 HD features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD that supports a peak brightness of 500 nits and offers a refresh rate of 60/90Hz for a smooth viewing experience. It is powered by the Helio G81 chipset, has 3GB/4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and is expandable up to 6GB/8GB with virtual memory. It offers 64GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging and runs on Android 14 (Go edition).
On the camera front, the Infinix Smart 9 HD features a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.85 aperture and autofocus, accompanied by dual flash and a 5M LED flash for improved lighting. The front houses an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture and front flash for selfies. Additional features include DTS-powered dual speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP54 splash resistance, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
