Edifier has introduced the S300 Bluetooth speaker in the Chinese market, promising powerful premium audio with Hi-Res certification and Apple AirPlay support.

Edifier S300 features
The S300 focuses on Hi-Fi audio performance with “Hi-Res Gold Label Certification” and a strong emphasis on sound purity. It delivers an RMS power of 80W, supported by TI TAS5822M digital amplifier chips, with a peak power of 100W. The speaker offers a signal-to-noise ratio of 110dB(A) for clear sound with low distortion and a frequency response range of 48Hz to 40kHz.
Audio and Connectivity

Equipped with Bluetooth 5.4, the S300 allows stable wireless connections and supports pairing with two devices simultaneously. It includes Apple AirPlay compatibility for direct streaming from Apple devices and supports audio formats such as LDAC, LHDC, AAC, and SBC. Additional input options include AUX, sound card, AirPlay, and Bluetooth.
Design and Build

The S300 features a retro-inspired look with high-quality materials and CNC precision manufacturing. Metal knobs enhance durability and functionality. Available in three colors—Black Walnut, Warm Brown, and Pearl White—the speaker weighs 6.3kg and measures 350mm x 229mm x 203mm.
Audio Configuration
The dual-speaker system includes 25mm metal dome tweeters and 5.5-inch aluminum cone woofers. The midrange drivers provide 16W each, while the bass driver delivers 50W, offering a balanced audio profile.
Additional Features
The speaker includes a dedicated remote control and supports customization via the Edifier Home app. Its WiFi operates on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies for better connectivity.
Pricing & availability
The Edifier S300 Bluetooth speaker is priced at 1,599 yuan ($221) and is currently available for purchase in China via JD.com. Information regarding its global availability has not been disclosed.
