Acer has launched a new gaming monitor in its Predator series called X27U X1 in the Chinese market. The monitor is priced at 2,999 yuan ($414) and is now available on JD.com. Let’s check out its key specs.

The Predator X27U X1 features a 26.5-inch QD-OLED display with a WQHD 2K resolution (2560×1440), offering a pixel density of 110 PPI for ultra-sharp and detailed visuals. It boasts a native refresh rate of 240Hz, ensuring ultra-smooth gameplay, especially in fast-paced FPS titles. Coupled with an impressive 0.03ms GTG response time, the monitor eliminates motion blur and provides precise, lag-free gaming performance.

The Predator X27U X1 also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology, which synchronizes the display’s refresh rate with the graphics card to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering for a seamless visual experience.

In terms of color accuracy, it comes with a 99% DCI-P3 wide color gamut and a 10-bit color depth, delivering rich, accurate, and vibrant colors with a palette of over 1.07 billion shades. It is further enhanced by HDR True Black 400 certification, offering deep blacks, high contrast, and a peak brightness of 1000 nits for realistic and detailed imagery.

The monitor features HDMI 2.1 ports, ensuring compatibility with next-gen gaming consoles such as the PS5 and Xbox Series X, supporting 4K or 1080p gaming at up to 120Hz. It also includes a DP1.4 port and an audio-out jack.

Ergonomically designed, the Predator X27U X1 features a height-adjustable stand with tilt and swivel functions for maximum comfort during long gaming sessions. The monitor also sports 5W dual speakers and incorporates eye-care technologies such as flicker-free functionality and low blue light modes to reduce strain during extended use. In terms of design, the X27U X1 boasts a sleek, gamer-centric look with a claw-shaped base, headphone hook, and cable management.

Earlier today, Acer also introduced the PE320QK X, a 32-inch OLED monitor with Calman certification, designed for professionals. Meanwhile, Skyworth unveiled a 31.5-inch OLED gaming monitor featuring a 4K resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate, alongside a Full HD mode supporting up to 480Hz.
