Honor has certified a new smartwatch, model number TUR-L19, in China, signaling an imminent launch. The device appears to be an upgraded version of the Honor Watch 5, which debuted last year alongside the Honor Magic 7 smartphones.

According to the TENAA certification database and tipster @WangzaiKnowsEverything, the TUR-L19 smartwatch introduces satellite communication support, a feature compatible with China Mobile and China Unicom eSIM operators. It includes a circular design and a 480mAh battery with wireless charging capabilities. Connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and Beidou are also present.

While exact details on hardware and software improvements over the Honor Watch 5 remain under wraps, it is anticipated to offer a more refined and advanced user experience.

The Honor Watch 5 features a 1.85-inch AMOLED display (450 × 390 resolution, 60Hz refresh rate) in a lightweight 35g build with aluminum alloy and reinforced polymer fiber casing. Its standout Honor Polaris positioning system supports standalone GPS with BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS, ensuring accurate tracking even in dense urban areas.

Health monitoring includes heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, sleep, and advanced heart health features. It supports eSIM for calls, dual-phone notifications, and LTE connectivity, along with Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and an IP68 rating. Powered by a 480mAh battery, the watch delivers up to 15 days in Bluetooth mode, 10 days in eSIM dual-terminal mode, and 3 days in independent eSIM mode. It includes 97 sports modes, an AI fat reduction assistant, and over 5000 watch face options.
