Casio has announced the release of a four-watch series under the Vintage A130WE lineup, scheduled for February 2025. Earlier reports suggested a March release, but the confirmed models include A130WE-1A, A130WE-7A, A130WEG-9A, and A130WEGG-1A.

These watches feature a design inspired by the LC analog-digital displays of the 1980s. The metallic finishes and accent colors give them a blend of vintage and modern appeal. The LCD display is split into a digital section and an LC analog section, with the upper-left analog display showing home time and the upper-right graphics indicating functions.

The watches support World Time with multi-time capabilities, allowing users to store four cities and switch between them. The world time function covers 48 cities in 31 time zones and includes a home city swap feature.
The case has a simple square design with a stainless-steel band. The compact size makes it versatile for different outfits. Color options include silver, gold, and gunmetal. The A130WE-7AJF and A130WEGG-1AJF models have blue and orange LCD accents, respectively.
The case and bezel are made of resin, and the watch face is covered with resin glass. The stainless-steel band has a free-type clasp and fits wrist sizes between 150 and 205 mm. The battery lasts about three years. The watch has a 1/100-second stopwatch with a 24-hour counter and split mode, as well as a timer that can be set in one-second increments up to 24 hours. It includes five alarms, which can be set as one-time or daily. The calendar is fully automatic, and the display can switch between 12-hour and 24-hour formats.
Pricing & availability
The premium models, A130WEG-9A and A130WEGG-1A, are priced at ¥11,000 ($71), while the standard models are available for ¥8,800 ($57). A release is expected in February 2025.
