Back in September 2024, Honor unveiled the Honor 200 Lite in India. Since then, the brand hasn’t launched any new phones in the Indian market. However, starting today, it has begun teasing the arrival of a new device by making its landing page live on Amazon. While the page does not reveal the device’s name, the teaser images suggest that the company is gearing up to announce the Honor X9c 5G this month as the successor to last year’s Honor X9b 5G.
Honor X9c 5G launching soon in India

The above images that are available on the Honor X9c 5G’s Amazon page reveal that it has an OIS+EIS enabled primary camera and a large battery with fast charging support. It has a round camera module on the back and a curved edge screen on the front.
The design matches with the Honor X9c 5G phone, which debuted in Malaysia back in November 2024. According to tipster Paras Guglani, the device will go official on Feb. 15 in India.

In Malaysia, the Honor X9c 5G is available in two options, such as 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. These variants are priced at MYR 1,499 (~$335) and MYR 1,699 (~$380), respectively. In terms of specifications, the device is equipped with a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen with support for a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of up to 4,000 nits. Under the hood, the device features the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip and a 6,600mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
The X9c has a 108-megapixel Samsung HM6 main camera and a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens. For selfies, it has a 16-megapixel camera on the front. The phone runs on Magic OS 8.0-based Android 14 and features an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security. It has an IP65-rated chassis that measures 7.98mm in thickness and weighs 189 grams.
