The South Korean tech giant’s Galaxy A56 had its support page go live in India and the UK carrying the SM-A566E/DS and SM-A566B/DS model numbers. For those unaware, the E stands for the Indian variant while the B is for the global version. The DS at the end stands for dual SIM support. So we can expect both regions to get dua SIM card slots.

This also hints that the company could be planning on having the global and Indian releases around the same time. Just a couple of days ago, the Galaxy A56 cleared the FCC and TUV Rheinland certification. A fresh report also talked about how the Galaxy A56 will offer “Awesome Intelligence” but could be harder to repair due to design changes.

Based on what we know so far, the Galaxy A56 will be equipped with the Exynos 1580 SoC, which will be paired with 8GB of RAM. Samsung is set to release this model in the Chinese market as well, since the Galaxy A56 surfaced on the 3C certification. The listing even confirmed 45W wired fast charging support.
