Acefast Acefit Pro hands-on: A stylish and functional open-ear audio experience

The Acefit Pro earbuds have an ultra-lightweight build with a flexible titanium wire ear-hook, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit for long hours. Each earbud weighs 7.9 grams, making them barely noticeable.

The transparent charging case adds a futuristic touch, featuring a digital battery display. However, the plastic (ABS+PC) material is prone to scratches. The case weighs 75.2g, making it slightly bulkier than standard TWS earbuds.

Additionally, the IP54 waterproof rating ensures protection against sweat and light rain, making it suitable for workouts and outdoor use but not for swimming. Its retail package includes the device, a few pieces of paperwork, and a USB cable.

The Acefit Pro is equipped with 20×8mm ultra-linear multi-circuit moving coil speakers, offering a frequency response range of 50Hz–20kHz. The bass is strong, the mids are clear, but the treble could be sharper.

The open-ear design ensures situational awareness, making them great for outdoor activities. However, sound isolation is minimal, so background noise can interfere in loud environments.

For calls, the noise reduction technology helps deliver clear voice transmission, but due to the open-ear design, some ambient noise may leak into calls.

The Acefit Pro supports Bluetooth 5.4 + EDR, ensuring a stable connection within a 10-metre range and offering support for SBC and AAC audio protocols. The connection remains strong, with minimal lag during music playback or calls.

According to the brand, the earbuds provide up to 6 hours of music playback at 60 percent volume, while talk time is approximately 5 hours at the same volume level. A quick charge of 10 minutes offers around 2 hours of playback, and the total battery life extends to 25 hours with the charging case. Each earbud houses a 60mAh battery, while the 500mAh charging case allows for three full recharges via USB-C charging.

The charging case features LED indicators to display battery levels. When the charge is below 25%, the first grid flashes, while the second, third, and fourth grids flash at 25-50 percent, 51-75 percent, and 76-99 percent, respectively. Once fully charged, all four grids remain on, and the display shows “OK”. A low battery warning is indicated when the charge drops below 10%, with a red ambient light signalling the need for recharging.

The touch controls available on the earbuds allow users to play/pause, switch songs, and accept/reject calls with ease. Here’s a list of supported touch controls.

The Acefast app, available on the Android Play Store and iOS App Store, offers basic customization options for the earbuds. It includes three main functions: Light Effects, which allows users to turn the LED lighting on or off; Sound Effects, which provides preset audio modes like Original Sound, Human Voice, Live, Bass, and Custom EQ for a personalized listening experience; and Gesture Controls, which enable users to modify touch controls for better usability.

The Acefast Acefit Pro is a stylish and comfortable option for users who need situational awareness while listening to music or taking calls. With a secure fit, IP54 waterproofing, and stable connectivity, it is well-suited for workouts and outdoor use. However, it lacks active noise cancellation (ANC) and relies solely on passive noise reduction. The limited sound isolation means external noise can interfere, especially in loud environments, which is typical for most open-ear design earbuds. Additionally, the absence of smart wear detection means playback does not auto-pause when the earbuds are removed.
