Google Pixel 9a visits FCC ahead of global launch

The search engine giant’s upcoming Pixe 9a was just spotted on the FCC database carrying the GTF7P and G3Y12 model numbers. In the certification document, it was revealed that the latest mid range Pixel phone will come with support for WiFi 6E, 5G connectivity, Bluetooth, and NFC. The Pixel 9a has also been confirmed to launch with wireless charging. Unfortunately, this was all the information that was revealed on the FCC certification.
Just a couple of days ago, the Pixel 9a was also seen grabbing the EMVCo certification. Another report also claimed that the upcoming device will arrive with a free subscription of YouTube Premium and Google One. Google is expected to equip the Pixel 9a with the Tensor G4 chipset, which could be paired with up to 256GB of internal storage. A large 5,100mAh battery pack is rumored to power this model, which likely offers fast charging support.

Based on recent rumors, the brand may unveil the Pixe 91 on 26th March 2025, with pre-orders opening a week earlier on March 19. Fresh renders of the device also surfaced earlier this week, showcasing the device in four color options, namely Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris, and Peony. The leak also hinted that the pricing will be €549 or £499 for the 128GB model and €649 or £599 for the 256GB version.
