Redmi unveiled the Redmi Turbo 4 with Dimensity 8400-Ultra onboard last month in China. The brand is now reportedly working on the Turbo 4 Pro featuring a more Snapdragon chip and a bigger battery. In a recent leak, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has highlighted the key specs of the Turbo 4 Pro.

Redmi Turbo 4 Pro chipset, battery details leaked again

The above leak, which seemingly pertains to the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, reveals that it will feature the Snapdragon 8s Elite (SM8735), a new chipset from Qualcomm expected to debut in the second quarter. Positioned between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, this processor features an advanced CPU architecture and Adreno GPU. Benchmarks indicate strong multi-core performance, making it a powerful option in the mid-to-high-end segment.

One of the most significant upgrades in the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is its 7410mAh rated battery (with a typical capacity of around 7500mAh). If accurate, this would make it the largest battery in a Redmi mid-range phone. The device will likely support 90W fast charging.

As per other reports, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is said to feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display, equipped with a short-focus optical-type fingerprint scanner. For photography, it may feature an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It could also come with an IP68-rated metal frame, improving durability.

Reports have revealed that sibling brand Poco will launch the Poco F7 in the second quarter of this year for the global market. It is likely that the F7 may arrive as a tweaked version of the Turbo 4 Pro.
