Samsung has launched its latest budget-friendly 5G smartphone, the Galaxy F06 5G, in India. The Galaxy F06 5G sports a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD 60Hz screen with a peak brightness of 800 nits. It maintains a sleek profile with an 8mm thickness and weighs 191 grams, making it comfortable to hold. The phone’s rear panel features a ‘Ripple Glow’ finish, adding a premium touch to its design.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 6300 processor, which ensures smooth multitasking and an improved gaming experience. It is available in 4 GB and 6 GB RAM variants, with an additional 6 GB of virtual RAM for enhanced performance. Storage remains fixed at 128 GB, but users can expand it up to 1TB via a microSD card.
For photography, the Galaxy F06 5G comes with a dual-camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel selfie camera housed in a notch. It runs on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI, and Samsung has committed to providing four generations of OS upgrades along with four years of security updates.
The Galaxy F06 5G is backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, ensuring extended usage without frequent recharging. However, the charger is not included in the box. Other notable features include a side-facing fingerprint scanner, 12-band 5G support across all telecom operators, carrier aggregation for improved network performance, Samsung Knox Vault for enhanced security, and software enhancements like Voice Focus for clearer calls and Quick Share for seamless file sharing.

The Samsung Galaxy F06 5G is available in two colour options: Bahama Blue and Lit Violet. The 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 9,499, while the 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs 10,999. These prices include an introductory bank cashback offer of Rs 500. The smartphone will go on sale from February 20 across retail stores, Samsung’s official website, and Flipkart.
