Leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy A36, shared by Evan Blass, confirm that the device closely resembles the upcoming Galaxy A56. Both models feature a camera island design, moving away from the individual lens cutouts seen on the A35 and A55. The leaks also reveal four color options, though some shades appear nearly identical.

Display, Camera, and Performance

The Galaxy A36 and A56 are expected to feature 6.6-inch OLED displays with vibrant visuals. Both will likely include a 50MP primary camera, but details on the A36’s other two rear sensors remain unclear.

The A36 is rumored to run on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, while the A56 is expected to use the Exynos 1580. Both phones will reportedly have 5,000mAh batteries with 45W fast charging.

Comparison to the Galaxy A35

The Galaxy A35, its predecessor, launched with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display (120Hz) and Gorilla Glass Victus Plus protection. It featured the Exynos 1380 chip, 50MP main camera with OIS, 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro, and a 13MP front camera. Other key features included IP67 water resistance, under-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and Android 14 with One UI 6.1. Samsung promised four OS upgrades and five years of security updates.

Launch Timeline

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy A36, A56, and possibly the A26 in mid-March. The A36 is confirmed for the US market, but the A56’s US availability remains uncertain.
