OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus Watch 3, introducing a range of improvements over its predecessor. The new smartwatch features a larger and brighter display, greater durability, and expanded health-tracking capabilities.

Design and Display: A Larger, Brighter Screen
The OnePlus Watch 3 has a refined design. The most noticeable change is the 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display, larger than the previous version. With a peak brightness of 2,200 nits, the display is brighter, improving visibility in sunlight. The watch combines a titanium alloy bezel with a stainless steel body for durability and a modern look. A rotating crown allows for easier navigation. The Watch 3 comes in Emerald Titanium and Obsidian Titanium color options, with a fluoro rubber strap. Sapphire glass protects the display from scratches.

Health and Fitness: Expanded Monitoring Features
The OnePlus Watch 3 continues to focus on health tracking. It includes a wrist temperature sensor, an eight-channel heart rate sensor, and a 16-channel blood oxygen sensor. A new vascular health test measures arterial stiffness. EKG functionality will be available in some regions, but not the US and Canada, pending regulatory approval.

It has a 60-second Health Check-In feature that provides a quick assessment of heart rate, blood oxygen, wrist temperature, sleep quality, and vascular health. Fitness tracking includes over 100 sports modes, including 11 professional modes. The GPS system has a circular polarized antenna for improved accuracy, especially in cities.
Battery and Performance: Longer Life and Smoother Operation
OnePlus claims improved battery life with the Watch 3. The 631mAh battery offers up to 120 hours (five days) of use in smart mode, more than the previous model. Heavy use should provide up to 48 hours, and power saver mode can extend battery life to 16 days. Fast charging provides a full day’s power in 10 minutes. The Watch 3 runs WearOS 5 and RTOS, powered by the Snapdragon W5 processor and BES2800BP chipset, and has 32GB of storage.
Pricing and Availability
The OnePlus Watch 3 is priced higher than its predecessor. It costs $329.99 in the US, €349 in Europe, and £319 in the UK, a $30 increase. Pre-order incentives, like discounts and free OnePlus Buds, are available in some areas.
