Amazfit has expanded the availability of its Active 2 smartwatch to Europe, following its earlier release in North America. The device combines a sleek design with fitness and health tracking tools, targeting both casual users and fitness enthusiasts.

Design and Display Options
The Active 2 features a stainless steel body and a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits for outdoor visibility. Two versions are available: a standard model with red or black silicone straps, and a premium model that adds a black leather strap, a red silicone strap, and sapphire glass for screen protection.

Technology and Sensors
The watch includes Amazfit’s BioTracker 6.0 PPG biosensor for improved heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring, alongside upgraded sleep-tracking algorithms. New additions include a barometer for altitude tracking and support for skiing and other winter sports. A 10-day battery life is claimed under typical use. Voice controls via Zepp Flow allow Android users to reply to messages via text or voice.
Fitness and Health Tracking
The watch has over 160 sports modes, and supports activities like HYROX races, and auto-detects strength-training exercises (reps, sets, rest intervals). Offline maps with turn-by-turn navigation are included and powered by five satellite systems. Health features include a daily Readiness score (assessing physical/mental recovery), HRV tracking, and Wild.AI integration for menstrual cycle insights.
Pricing & availability
The Amazfit Active 2 is now available in Europe, with the standard model priced at €99 (~$100 in the US) and the premium model at €129 (~$130 in the US). There is no confirmation yet on additional regional launches.
