Tecno is gearing up for a big announcement at MWC Barcelona 2025, and yes, it’s mostly about AI. Under the theme “Create the AI Future,” the company is going to unveil a whole new AI-powered product ecosystem, which includes a fresh CAMON Series smartphone, AI glasses, and a laptop.

If you’re attending, you can catch all the action at booth 6B11 in Hall 6, Fira Gran Via—and from the looks of it, there’s a lot to be excited about.

A bigger AI ecosystem from Tecno is on the horizon

Tecno has been working on enriching its devices with helpful AI features for quite a while, and now the company is reportedly aiming to create its AI ecosystem to enrich the life of users in emerging markets. And this year’s MWC presence will serve as an introduction to some of its newest developments to the world.

One of the biggest highlights is going to be a brand-new CAMON Series smartphone. This upcoming model is expected to push the boundaries of AI-powered photography.

They will also be showcasing the Phantom V Fold2 5G (review) and Phantom V Flip2 5G, the foldable smartphones from last year. For those unfamiliar, these aren’t just sleek devices—they also pack several AI tools designed to boost creativity, productivity, and efficiency.

AI Glasses—Tecno is expanding beyond phones

One of the most exciting reveals this year? AI glasses. Yes, Tecno is stepping into a whole new product category, and while details are still under wraps, there’s a good chance these glasses will bring something fresh to the table. The new product is expected to offer a unique way to interact with augmented reality and smart tech.

There’s also a new AI-powered laptop, which is likely a part of the MEGABOOK series. If you’re into lightweight yet powerful laptops, this one might be worth keeping an eye on. Tecno is clearly expanding its portfolio beyond smartphones, and this move into a more comprehensive AI-driven ecosystem is something to watch.

Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2

This year, all eyes will be on the Phantom Ultimate 2, an ultra-thin tri-fold smartphone designed to rethink the large-screen experience. Previously teased in a concept video, this might be the first time we see a physical prototype.

While this is just an introduction to what the company is working on and doesn’t show how much actual value the development will add to the market, it’s still good to see the company pushing cutting-edge technologies and increasing competition across brands.
