ZTE has introduced a new range of AI-powered 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) and Mobile Broadband (MBB) devices at MWC Barcelona 2025. The company, which has led the global 5G FWA and MBB market for four consecutive years, unveiled three products integrating next-generation technologies, including 5G-Advanced and Wi-Fi 7.

The newly launched products reflect ZTE’s approach to integrating artificial intelligence into wireless solutions. The AI-driven lineup includes the ZTE G5 Ultra, the ZTE G5 Max Wi-Fi, and the ZTE U60 Pro, all featuring AI-powered network optimization and management functions.
New AI-Enhanced 5G FWA & MBB Devices
ZTE G5 Ultra is the first AI-powered 5G-Advanced flagship FWA device, capable of peak speeds up to 19Gbps. It supports tri-band Wi-Fi 7, dual 2.5Gbps ultra-fast network ports, AI voice control, and AI-driven QoS management, optimizing performance for applications like online gaming and high-resolution video streaming.
ZTE G5 Max Wi-Fi introduces a 30dBi Wi-Fi 7 mmWave FWA, supporting Sub-6GHz and mmWave carrier aggregation with speeds up to 10Gbps. Designed for outdoor use, it provides extended signal coverage up to 6km and aims to enhance connectivity stability with an advanced antenna system.
ZTE U60 Pro is a high-speed Wi-Fi 7 5G Mobile Wi-Fi device, delivering up to 3.6Gbps speeds. It features a 10,000mAh battery, supporting 16 hours of operation, along with fast charging and NFC-enabled quick Wi-Fi connections.
ZTE has emphasized AI-driven enhancements in its FWA and MBB solutions, focusing on network optimization, energy efficiency, and security. The company’s AI-powered technologies aim to manage bandwidth dynamically, reduce congestion, and improve energy consumption through adaptive learning algorithms. Additionally, security features such as AI-based threat detection and child safety controls have been integrated into the devices.
ZTE has also introduced the Nubia Neo 3 series at the MWC event, featuring RGB lighting, AI tools, and shoulder triggers at a budget-friendly price.
