At the CES 2025 event in January, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy AI and Co-Pilot-powered Galaxy Book 5 series of laptops. The premium notebooks are now heading to India later this month. At present, the brand has started receiving pre-reservations for both models.
Galaxy Book 5 series pre-reservations begin in India

Consumers can pre-reserve the Galaxy Book 5 360, Galaxy Book 5 Pro, and Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 from today at no cost through Samsung.com, Samsung India Smart Cafés, select authorized retail stores, and other online platforms. Those who pre-reserve will receive early access benefits worth Rs 5,000. The pre-reserve offers are available until March 10.
Galaxy Book 5 Pro (14-inch and 16-inch versions) specifications

The Galaxy Book 5 Pro is available in 14-inch and 16-inch variants, both featuring a WQXGA+ (2880×1800) AMOLED touch display with 120% DCI-P3 color volume and 48-120Hz VRR for smooth visuals. The 14-inch model measures 12.30″ x 8.81″ x 0.46″ and weighs 2.71 lbs, while the 16-inch variant is 13.99″ x 9.86″ x 0.49″, weighing 3.44 lbs. Both models run Windows 11 Home and are powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor (Intel EVO) with Intel AI Boost NPU and Intel Arc graphics.
The Galaxy Book 5 Pro offers 16GB or 32GB RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB SSD. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, and the laptop houses a 2MP FHD camera with Staggered HDR. Audio is enhanced with quad speakers (Dolby Atmos) and studio-quality dual microphones. It has a Pro Keyboard with backlighting and is powered by a 76.1Wh battery (16-inch) or 63.1Wh battery (14-inch), with 65W USB-C charging. Ports include two Thunderbolt 4, one USB-A, a microSD slot, HDMI 2.1, and a headphone jack. It is unclear whether both the 14-inch and 16-inch models will be released in India.

The Galaxy Book5 360 is a 2-in-1 laptop-tablet hybrid that features a 15.6-inch FHD AMOLED touch display (1920×1080) with 120% DCI-P3 color volume and a 60Hz refresh rate. It measures 13.99″ x 8.98″ x 0.54″, weighing 3.22 lbs. Running on Windows 11 Home, it comes with an Intel Core Ultra 7 or Ultra 5 processor, Intel Arc graphics, and Intel AI Boost NPU.
Memory options include 16GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB SSD storage. It supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 and includes a 2-megapixel FHD camera, dual microphones, and stereo speakers (Dolby Atmos). The laptop has a Pro Keyboard with numeric keypad and backlighting, a 68.1Wh battery with 65W USB-C charging, and connectivity options like two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB-A, a microSD slot, HDMI 2.1, and a headphone jack.

The Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is also a premium 2-in-1 offering that features a 16-inch WQXGA+ AMOLED touchscreen display (2880 x 1800) with anti-reflective coating and S Pen support, making it ideal for creative professionals and multitaskers. Powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor and Intel Arc 140V GPU (8GB), the laptop comes with Windows 11 Home,16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and a 1TB SSD for smooth multitasking and ample storage. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v5.4, Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card reader. It also is equipped with quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 2-megapixel webcam, and a backlit Pro keyboard with a numeric keypad. The 76Wh battery supports 65W USB Type-C fast charging, and the device weighs 3.73 lbs.
