Recently, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra and its Satellite Communication Version were spotted with a 100W charger in China’s 3C certification database. As shown in the above screengrab, Oppo Find Product Manager Zhou Yibao has officially confirmed that the Find X8 Ultra will support 100W fast charging. To recall, last year’s Find X7 Ultra offered 80W wired charging.

Yibao claimed that the X8 Ultra will be able to charge from 0 to 100 percent in just 35 minutes. Additionally, the device will support 80W wireless charging. Like the existing Find X8 and X8 Pro, the Ultra variant will feature an IP68/69-rated dust and water-resistant chassis.

At the same time, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked new details about the X8 Ultra. According to his recent Weibo post, the device will house a battery of around 6,000mAh capacity. He also mentioned that it will be the only “Ultra” flagship phone this year to feature a dual-cell battery. Despite its large battery, the device’s thickness is expected to remain under 9mm. Furthermore, the X8 Ultra will come equipped with an upgraded version of the 0916 X-axis linear motor for improved haptic feedback.

As per reports, the Find X8 Ultra launch event in April will possibly see the arrival of a couple of other devices, such as the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, Find X8S, and Find X8 Mini. As far as the global launch is concerned, none of these Find X8-series phones may release in markets outside of China.
