JBL has officially unveiled two portable Bluetooth speakers in the global market. This includes the new JBL Flip 7 and the JBL Charge 6. Both of these promise to offer an improved audio experience along with new AI powered features as well. So let’s check out their specs, features, and pricing.
JBL Flip 7
The JBL Flip 7 is the latest from the brand’s popular Flip series and promises better bass (25W Woofer) and an upgraded tweeter (10 W) for an improved audio experience. One of the notable new features is the AI Sound Boost tech, which can adjust audio settings dynamically. JBL released these speakers with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. So users don’t need to worry about carrying these outdoors.
The Flip 7 connects via Bluetooth Core 5.4 and supports Auracast as well. On a single full charge, it can last for up to 16 hours with an extra two hours coming from the Playtime Boost. The new speaker is also built using sustainable materials like 77 percent post consumer recycled plastic and recycled fabric for the grille. It is available for 149.95 US Dollars and arrives in six color options, namely camo, black, blue, white, red, and purple.

JBL Charge 6
The JBL Charge 6 is the second model that was unveiled globally with AI Sound Boost. Just like the Flip 7, the new Charge model also offers an IP68 rated design. It features up to 28 hours of audio playback, promising music that plays all day long. With Auracast technology, you also get access to stereo pairing and multi speaker connections as well. Other notable features include lossless audio playback via USB-C, OTA software update support via the JBL Portable app, and sustainability focused design.
