Vivo is one of the leading smartphone brands in the Indian market and recent rumors have revealed that the company aims on expanding its X200 series of flagship devices. A fresh report has revealed that two new models are heading to India, which could include the Vivo X200 Ultra and Vivo X200 Pro Mini. So here’s what we know.
Vivo X200 Ultra & X200 Pro Mini India launch near
The latest news arrives from a BusinessWorld report. Sources close to the matter have claimed that the Chinese tech giant is planning on releasing the next top model the Vivo X200 Ultra and the compact X200 Pro Mini in India owing to the popularity of the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro in the region. The Vivo X200 Pro in particular was apparently completely sold out in India, prompting the brand to request additional units from its manufacturing facilities.
This robust demand is driving the brand’s plans to release the top end Vivo X200 Ultra in the region. To recall, Vivo had previously skipped the launch of the Vivo X100 Ultra back in 2024. The upcoming X200 Ultra is expected to be another photography flagship that offers various improvements over the X100 Ultra while also shifting from MediaTek to Qualcomm with the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
If Vivo actually does launch the X200 Ultra, it will likely compete against the likes of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which was just unveiled in the Indian market as well. Unfortunately, the report did not reveal a lot of details regarding the X200 Pro Mini or its release timeline. However, the X200 Pro Mini was spotted in another leak recently, which hinted at an April 2025 launch window.
