Xiaomi has just announced its most cutting edge smartphone in India. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra made its debut in China last month, and has finally made its way to the Indian market. The Chinese tech giant unveiled the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in a single Chrome Silver color option, which makes it resemble the classic Leica cameras. It is also available in a single 16GB + 512GB storage configuration that costs 109,999 INR (roughly 1,261 US Dollars). You can purchase this device from the brand’s official website, Amazon India, and authorized Xiaomi retail stores starting from starting from 19th March 2025 to April 2. The early access sale goes live today, with pre-bookings also kicking off. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra sports a tall 6.73-inch 2K LTPO OLED with a 120Hz refresh adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 1920Hz PWM dimming, and 3200 nits of peak brightness. On the rear, we get the star of the show, which is the quad Leica camera setup. It features a 50MP 1-inch main camera with a 50MP ultra wide camera, 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor with 4.3x optical zoom. You’re also getting the new ACES LOG cinematic video mode that brings cinema grade color accuracy and 8K recording as well.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. A large 5,410mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 90W wired fast charging and 80W wireless fast charging. Other notable features include Bluetooth 6, NFC, Satellite communication via Starlink and TianTong satellites, infrared sensor, IP68 rating, and in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
