Xiaomi has launched the Mijia High-Speed Water Ion Hair Dryer in the Chinese market, featuring advanced hydration and high-speed airflow. It will be available from March 20, with a retail price of 379 yuan ($52). Let’s check out its key specs.

The Mijia hair dryer features dual-needle nano water ion technology, which condenses moisture from the air and converts it into nano water ions. This technology deeply hydrates hair to improve moisture retention, reduce split ends, and enhance shine. It also releases two billion high-concentration negative ions, which neutralize static electricity and tame frizz for a smoother finish.
It comes with an ultra-fast 110,000 RPM motor, delivering 65 meters per second of strong airflow. This powerful system significantly reduces drying time, allowing short hair to dry in one minute, shoulder-length hair in three minutes, and long hair in five minutes. This makes it a great option for those with busy schedules.
It equips an intelligent temperature regulation system that monitors airflow 100 times per second to maintain a steady 57°C drying temperature. This prevents excessive heat exposure while ensuring efficient drying and protecting hair from damage.
The smart hair dryer sports eight drying modes, with two wind speeds and four temperature settings: cool air, warm air, hot air, and alternating hot/cold air. This customization allows users to tailor their drying experience based on seasonal and styling needs.
It weighs only 355g, making it comfortable to use for extended periods. The dryer comes in Iceland Blue, Moonlight White, and Punk Purple and features metallic electroplated accents for a premium look. It also comes with a 1.7-meter power cord that ensures ease of movement while styling.
The hair dryer features an upgraded magnetic air nozzle, ensuring precise airflow direction for effortless styling. It also includes triple overheating protection, a magnetic inlet filter, and a microporous metal mesh to prevent hair entanglement and dust buildup.
