Last week, Samsung confirmed that it would start rolling out the One UI 7 update to its 2023 and newer flagship phones and tablets in April. That’s good news, but it left owners of older flagships wondering if they’d be left behind, especially since Samsung is already late in delivering this year’s platform upgrade.

Well, there’s good news for them too. Samsung has now confirmed that previous flagships, including the Galaxy S21 series and third-generation foldable, will also get the One UI 7 update in April.

Samsung’s latest update is set to roll out starting April 14 in Singapore on April 14, starting with the Galaxy S24 series before expanding to other devices. Globally, though, the update kicks off earlier on April 7 for the S24 series, so there seems to be some regional rollout differences.

As is pretty evident, the company is prioritizing its flagship lineup first. Its mid-range and budget devices from the Galaxy A, M, and F series are next in line for the update, but users might have to wait a little longer before the update reaches their phones.
