Samsung might be bringing a notable upgrade to the cover display of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 to rival its competition. Fresh renders leak have revealed a larger external screen, while the protective case was also revealed. So let’s check it out.
Is the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 getting a larger cover screen?

Just recently, AndroidHeadlines and OnLeaks shared renders of Samsung’s upcoming flagship flip phone (Via MySmartPrice). Looking at these pictures, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 appears similar to the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra with the external screen going around the cameras at the back. This is an upgrade over the cover display on last year’s Galaxy Z Flip 6 as the bezels are slimming down in this next gen foldable phone.
Known tipster Ice Universe also shared a tweet earlier this week, revealing the protective cases of the new Galaxy Z Flip 7. These also showcase a larger cutout, which also hints at the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Based on what we know so far, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is also getting a 4,300mAh battery pack, which is larger than the Z Flip 6’s 4,000mAh cell. Under the hood, it is rumored to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.

Pairing the latest Qualcomm flagship chipset with the larger battery could allow the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 to offer better battery life overall. Other notable features likely include Galaxy AI and Android 15 OS based OneUI 7 custom skin out of the box. Unfortunately, this is all the information we have at the moment, so stay tuned for more.
