POCO has officially announced the launch date of the POCO C71. This is an upcoming budget smartphone that will be launched later this week. The company has confirmed the launch date along with some of the key specs and features of the POCO C71, so let’s check it out.
POCO C71 India Launch Confirmed
The Chinese smartphone maker is set to unveil the POOC C71 in the Indian market on 4th April 2025, which is in line with our previous report. It shared teaser image posters as well, which revealed a bunch of its features. On the front, the smartphone sports a tall 6.88-inch LCD panel with an HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an 8MP selfie shooter. The panel also offers TUB low blue light certification as well. Meanwhile, the rear packs a 32MP dual camera setup.
Under the hood, this model is equipped with an octa core processor that managed to score over 300,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark. This chipset is paired with 6GB of RAM that can be expanded by another 6GB via virtual RAM support. A sizeable 5,200mAh battery pack powers this model, which supports 15W wired fast charging. Buyers can even bump the storage by up to 2TB via a microSD card slot.
Other notable features include Android 15 OS out of the box, a 3.5mm audio jack, a side mounted fingerprint scanner, and dual band WiFi. While the pricing and availability details are still unknown, the company has confirmed the color options of the POCO C71. This includes Cool Blue, Power Black, and Desert Gold that brings a shiny bling aesthetic. To recall, the smartphone could be the rebranded Redmi A5.
