Vivo has launched the Vivo V50e in India as a more affordable sibling to the V50, which debuted earlier this year. The launch has been confirmed via official sources, highlighting key features such as a quad-curved 120Hz display, impressive camera setup, and fast-charging capabilities. Here’s a look at the specifications, features, and pricing of the device.
Vivo V50e specifications and features
The Vivo V50e sports a sleek and lightweight build, measuring just 7.39mm in thickness and weighing 186 grams. It’s also IP68/69 certified for water and dust resistance. The front is dominated by a 6.77-inch AMOLED display that supports a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1800 nits of local peak brightness.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and support for an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. It comes in two storage variants—128GB and 256GB—both based on UFS 2.2. Backing it all is a 5,600mAh battery, which supports fast 90W charging for quick top-ups.
In terms of imaging, the device includes a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus for clear selfies and group shots. On the back, there’s a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS, coupled with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and an Aura LED flash.
The V50e runs on FunTouch OS 15 based on Android 15, with a promise of 3 Android OS upgrades and 4 years of security patches. Connectivity-wise, it supports dual SIMs, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, and features like an in-display fingerprint scanner and dual stereo speakers.
Vivo V50e price in India, availability
The V50e is priced at Rs 28,999 (~$340) for the 8GB+128GB variant and Rs 30,999 (~$360) for the 8GB+256GB model. It comes in Sapphire Blue and Pearl White colors. Pre-booking begins today, and it will be available for purchase via Vivo’s official website, Flipkart, and offline retail stores from April 17.
As part of the launch offers, buyers can avail up to 10% instant discount with select bank cards, exchange bonuses, no-cost EMI options, and special bundled pricing on Vivo TWS earbuds. Offline buyers also get exclusive finance schemes, buyback deals, and free access to OTT content through Jio benefits.
